Talk, Lead Her Way, Il Sole 24 Ore
Silvia Nicolis takes centre stage at “Lead Her Way”, promoted by 24 ORE Eventi and Il Sole 24 Ore
“Leadership is not measured by the number of people below you, but by how many people you help grow alongside you.” With this message, Silvia Nicolis spoke at “Lead Her Way”, the initiative promoted by 24 ORE Eventi and Il Sole 24 Ore dedicated to new models of leadership, taking part in two panels on business, culture and innovation at Hotel Veronesi La Torre in Dossobuono di Villafranca.
In the first session, in her role as Vice President of Confindustria Verona, Silvia Nicolis was joined by Roberto Dall’Oca, Mayor of Villafranca di Verona, and Alessia Rotta, Councillor of the City of Verona, to explore the value of collaboration between businesses, institutions and local authorities as a lever for encouraging investment, innovation and regional development.
She then took part, as President of Museo Nicolis, in the panel on the role of culture and industrial heritage, in conversation with Jessica Bianchera, President of the Urbs Picta Cultural Association, and Roberta Zanini, researcher at the Center for Cultural Heritage Technology of the Italian Institute of Technology. The discussion highlighted how culture is a strategic tool for enhancing heritage, fuelling innovation and helping to build the future.
The Verona stop of the national roadshow on new models of leadership brought together women entrepreneurs, managers, institutional representatives and professionals to examine the role of skills, strategic vision and innovation capability in business growth, with a particular focus on women’s leadership, sustainability and the transformation of organisational models.
