Silvia Nicolis in the Spotlight at the Talk

Culture is not only what we inherit, but also what we choose to build and pass on.
This was one of the key themes explored during the talk “Who Builds Culture Today? Focus: Art and Business”, hosted at ArtVerona 2026 – Veronafiere and moderated by Giulia Zompa. Among the speakers was Silvia Nicolis, President of the Nicolis Museum and Vice President of Confindustria Verona.
The event offered an opportunity to reflect on the role of businesses in preserving and promoting cultural heritage, as well as on the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors.
Silvia Nicolis shared the story of the Nicolis Museum, born from the entrepreneurial vision of Luciano Nicolis: recognising value where others saw something outdated, preserving memories and giving them new life.
