Piaggio Vespa 125 VNB5T, 1963, Italy

With its clean and light styling, the Vespa 125 VNB will introduce new innovations and will be produced from 1959 to 1966 in 5 different series.

Heir of the previous VNA, the new 125 had some mechanical improvements such as the rotary disk valve and the carburetor now placed on the sump and no longer on the cylinder, that improved the power supply and lowered the consumption of mixture (no longer at 5%, but 2% of oil).

The rear frame is made of two half shells of pressed steel to gain more rigidity and ease the assembly process.

The Vespa of the Museo is a VNB5T, in amethyst grey, with the new 4-speed gearbox and rear seat on the luggage rack for the passenger.
