One of the most ancient european industrial realities and still in business.

In the second half of the 18th century, Jean Pierre Peugeot already owns a business of dry cleaners and weaving factories. His sons Jean Pierre Junior and Jean Frederic later built a steel foundry and a rolling mill.

In 1882 Peugeot built a bicycle, then started making tricycles and quadricycles, powered by a De Dion engine.
The first motorbike project was designed in 1899 and sold from 1901. In 1902 Peugeot built its first car.

Peugeot vehicles proved to be touring bikes for racing: among the drivers, the Italian Gippone and Lanfranchi  that won many races both in France and italy. Today the Peugeot brand is part of Stellantis Group and produces cars and motorbikes.

The bike was sold at 850 Francs
