Ancora Motoleggera (light motorcycle), 1926, Italy

From 1926 to 1939, Ancora built bicycles and motorcycles powered by 2-stroke Villiers engines. One of the most important sports achievements was winning the famous “Circuito del Lario.” There is not much information about the company, but we know that in 1936, the new owner was Umberto Dei, who, from 1939, would only use its name, ending the use of the Ancora brand.
