The Model R, also known as “The Riccy”,  is a motorbike produced by Triumph Engineering Co ltd based in Coventry, England.

It’s a derivation of the most famous H550. The cylinder and 4-valve head with central spark plug were designed by Harry Ricardo. In fact, “R” stands for Ricardo. On the left of the handlebar there is the timing advance lever, the clutch lever and the valve lifter. On the right, the front brake control, the gas and air lever.
