Starting from the famous Ciao, Piaggio gave birth to a family of mopeds derived from it but with added features.

While the Ciao was fitted with very simple suspensions, with leading link on the front and rigid frame at the back, the Piaggio Sì featured telescopic forks and a single rear damper.

Despite being initially available with wire wheels, the Sì is usually recognizable by the alloy 4-spoke wheels.

The bike of the Museo is also equipped with the rare original plastic bags.
