In 1967 the brand introduced many innovative products on the market like the color TV, the compact tape cassette player, followed by the cassette player for cars and the clock-radio with digital display.

Grundig was one of the most important TV and radio producer, together with Philips that started acquiring company’s shares, leading to complete control in 1993.
