Bruno Ruffo was a famous facing pilot from Verona. He began his career as a motorcycles racer in 1937 and became the first 250cc World Champion in 1949. He was called "the Warrior" for his brave way of drinving.

After two mortorcycles accidents he decided to turn to the world of racing cars and from 1955 to 1958 he ran for Alfa Romeo and Maserati as their official pilot with brilliant results
