Terrot, 1902, racing bicycle

Terrot, racing bicycle, early 1900s, France

Terrot was an important French company, founded in Dijon in 1887 by Charles Terrot, who dedicated most of the production to motorcycles and bicycles.
In 1959 the company will be taken over by the famous car company Peugeot.

What strikes most about this bicycle is its frame, higher than normal and fitted with an odd-shaped handlebar.
