The Museo Nicolis will be open BY RESERVATION ONLY, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, for groups of at least 20 paying visitors, with a guided tour mandatory.

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY – opening hours: 10 AM / 6 PM
The Museum will be regularly open to the public from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a free guided tour in Italian at 3:30 PM, departing at a fixed time.

MONDAY closed to the public.

CORPORATE AND PRIVATE EVENTS by reservation from Monday to Sunday.

At Museo Nicolis, facilitated access is provided for visitors with disabilities or reduced mobility. All floors are accessible by elevator via a route suitable for wheelchair users.

Free admission

The free ticket is given to the following:

Children up to 5 years, accompanied by an adult.
Teachers accompanying school groups of any age from public or private schools, further to phone booking. Free entrance is given to companions in the following proportions (unless agreed otherwise with the management).
For infant and junior schools, 1 companion every 10 pupils or fraction of 10.
Secondary and high schools, 1 companion every 15 pupils or fraction of 15.
Coach drivers accompanying groups to the museum.
Tourist interpreters when they are needed next to the guide.
Directors and curators of Italian and foreign museums.
Managers from Ministries and Public Institutions.
Government officials and representatives.
Registered journalists, after showing their pass.
Authorised professional tourist guides, after showing their pass.
Members of I.C.O.M. (International Council of Museum).
Disabled and invalids who are legally recognised, with certificates, plus their companion.
The Nicolis Museum management may grant free entrance to anyone on a study or work visit, or for special tasks on showing the declaration from the institution they belong to.

Entrance
The Museum is easily accessible to all, on request the reception staff will accompany anyone who needs assistance to the floors.

Voucher
Voucher carnets are available for companies at a special price. The vouchers are used for companies to give gifts to their customers or friends to enter the museum. The vouchers are not valid for groups.

Agreements
The management reserves the right to stipulate agreements with Boards / Associations / private people. The Agreements in being are on show in Reception. For information, please contact our staff on 045/6303289 or 045/6304959.

Your four-legged friends are welcome!
You can visit Museum Nicolis together with your pets, as long as they are kept on a leash and, if required by their breed, equipped with a muzzle.

HOW TO GET

We recommend the following motorway exits

A22 Modena-Brennero motorway

  • VERONA NORTH exit (13 km).
  • Join the ringroad following directions for Villafranca Airport / Mantova.
  • At the exit from the ringroad continue towards the centre of Villafranca (Via Postumia).
  • After app. 5 km the Museum Nicolis can be seen on the right (an aluminium and glass building, the planes can be seen on the roof).
A4 Milan-Venice motorway
  • SOMMACAMPAGNA exit (7 km).
  • Continue in the direction of Villafranca – Go straight on for 5 km.
  • At the crossroads turn left towards the Industrial Zone or the Hyperbaric Institute.
  •  Continue straight on and take the 2nd road on the left (Via Spagna) – At the end of the road turn left (Via Francia).
  • At the Stop sign, go straight on (Via Francia) – Take the 1st turning on the right (Via Lussemburgo).
  • At the end of the road the Museum Nicolis is on the left (aluminium and glass building, the planes can be seen on the roof).

A4 Milan-Venice motorway

  • VERONA SOUTH exit (17 km).
  • Follow the directions for Villafranca Airport / Mantova.
  • Join the ringroad following directions for Villafranca Airport / Mantova.
  • At the exit from the ringroad continue towards the centre of Villafranca (Via Postumia).
  • After app. 5 km the Museum Nicolis can be seen on right (an aluminium and glass building, the planes can be seen on the roof).

Verona “Porta Nuova” station, to get to the Nicolis Museum – direction Villafranca – take a taxi or use the provincial buses lines 157 – 158 – 159 of the ATV which carries out the service for the Verona – Villafranca section and back – Museo Nicolis stop. The indicative timetables of the lines can be found by consulting the ATV website.

From Verona Porta Nuova station, take ATV bus 158 or 159 to Villafranca di Verona. The museum is served by the “Museo Nicolis” stop.
