This dual cultural perspective is now a defining element of her commitment to promoting <strong>Made in Italy<\/strong>, business culture, and sustainable innovation.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"dfk1ty\" data-start=\"781\" data-end=\"837\"><span role=\"text\">Business, Circular Economy, and Industrial Vision<\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"839\" data-end=\"1037\">Her professional journey began within the <a href=\"https:\/\/lamacart.eu\/\"><strong>Lamacart Group<\/strong><\/a>, a historic family company founded over eighty years ago by her father, Luciano Nicolis, and now a benchmark in paper recovery and recycling.Having grown up within the company, Silvia Nicolis absorbed from an early age the values of work, responsibility, and environmental awareness. She formally joined the company in the 1990s, contributing to the Group\u2019s strategic development according to the principles of the circular economy, anticipating practices that are now central to the European industrial debate. She is currently a managing partner of the Group alongside her brother, Thomas Nicolis. Under their leadership, Lamacart became the <strong>first Italian company<\/strong> to receive the prestigious <strong>Papyrus Award<\/strong> from the BIR \u2013 Bureau of International Recycling, an international mark of excellence.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"v12l8e\" data-start=\"1699\" data-end=\"1758\"><span role=\"text\">The Museo Nicolis: An International Cultural Project<\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1760\" data-end=\"1968\">In 2000, together with her father Luciano Nicolis, Silvia Nicolis founded the Museo Nicolis \u2013 Museum of Cars, Technology and Mechanics, taking on its direction from the outset and, since 2012, its presidency. The Museum spans over 6,000 square meters and hosts ten collections that narrate the 20th century through automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, musical instruments, cameras, scientific instruments, and iconic objects of human ingenuity. Thanks to her leadership, the Museo Nicolis has established itself as a <strong>European benchmark in corporate museums<\/strong> and has been included among the <strong>100 most influential classic car collections worldwide<\/strong>, according to the international ranking <em data-start=\"2445\" data-end=\"2488\">\u201cThe Key \u2013 Top of the Classic Car World.\u201d<\/em> Today, it attracts visitors from all over the world and is recognized as a powerful tool for promoting Italian industrial and cultural identity. Silvia Nicolis has developed the Museum as a <strong>cultural, educational, and<\/strong> <strong>tourism hub<\/strong>, integrating managerial approach with industrial culture. Alongside its permanent collections, the Museum hosts events, temporary exhibitions, educational workshops, training activities, a conference center, and a specialized bookstore. Over time, it has built a strong network of relationships with schools, institutions, businesses, and cultural organizations at both national and international levels. She is the creator of initiatives aimed at economic and cultural enhancement, such as the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.museonicolis.com\/category\/premio-museo-nicolis\">Premio Museo Nicolis<\/a> all\u2019Imprenditoria Veneta<\/strong>, and contributed to the inclusion of the Municipality of Villafranca di Verona in the national network <strong>Citt\u00e0 dei Motori<\/strong>, which brings together municipalities and major brands representing Italian automotive excellence.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"9h0qmu\" data-start=\"3490\" data-end=\"3517\"><span role=\"text\">Awards and Positions<\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"94\" data-end=\"472\">The museum project has received numerous <a href=\"https:\/\/www.museonicolis.com\/category\/premi-al-museo-nicolis\">international recognitions<\/a>, including the <em><strong data-start=\"177\" data-end=\"200\">Special Recognition<\/strong><\/em> <strong>of the<\/strong> <strong data-start=\"208\" data-end=\"266\">FIVA<\/strong> \u2013 F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Internationale des V\u00e9hicules Anciens, the title of <em><strong data-start=\"281\" data-end=\"303\">Museum of the Year<\/strong><\/em> at the Historic Motoring Awards in London, the <strong data-start=\"355\" data-end=\"410\"><em>Ruoteclassiche Best in Classic <\/em><\/strong><em>\u2013 Museum of the Year<\/em>, and the <em>Eccellenza dell\u2019Anno<\/em> award by ACI Storico. At the same time, Silvia Nicolis carries out an intense institutional and representative activity: she is Vice President of <strong data-start=\"584\" data-end=\"626\">Confindustria Verona<\/strong> with responsibility for Tourism and Corporate Culture, <strong data-start=\"686\" data-end=\"719\">Vice President of Museimpresa<\/strong>, a member of the Board of Directors of <strong>Veronafiere<\/strong>, and participates in numerous national bodies dedicated to corporate culture and industrial history. In 2022, she was received in audience by the <strong>President of the Republic,<\/strong> <strong data-start=\"951\" data-end=\"992\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Sergio Mattarella<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of <strong data-start=\"1042\" data-end=\"1057\">Museimpresa<\/strong>, in recognition of the value of corporate culture as a national heritage. Her public and professional profile has been recognized with numerous awards, including: Premio Nodo d\u2019Amore, for the cultural and tourism enhancement of the territory; Premio Capitani dell\u2019Anno Veneto; Premio Giulietta, for commitment, passion, and determination in her work and in the social sphere; Premio Motu Proprio \u2013 Chamber of Commerce of Verona, for the economic development of the territory; Premio Internazionale Profilo Donna; Premio AIV Impresa Lavoro; Parksmania Awards \u2013 Exhibition Vespa. She has also been appointed, in recognition of her commitment to territorial promotion and enhancement, as Nobilissima Castellana delle Terre di Suavia and Ambassador of Bardolino \u2013 Confraternita del Vino Bardolino Chiaretto DOC.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1vrto5u\" data-start=\"5175\" data-end=\"5212\"><span role=\"text\">Social and Cultural Commitment<\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"5214\" data-end=\"5336\">Alongside her leadership roles, Silvia Nicolis has maintained a consistent and <strong>concrete social commitment since her youth<\/strong>. The Museo Nicolis has always been conceived as an open and inclusive space, as demonstrated by free visits for people with vulnerabilities, educational projects, collaborations with healthcare and social organizations, and attention to accessibility.
