It was , in fact, Luciano Nicolis who, in 1963, established Lamacart S.p.A. in its present form, who structured and organised it into a modern context, offering itself to the public and private markets as an efficient, reliable and competent partner in paper recovery and recycling.<br \/>\nIn 1991, Thomas Nicolis, the current Managing Director and a dynamic member of the third generation of businessmen, also began working in the company. His task was to guide Lamacart even further towards technological innovation, process rationalisation and \u2013 above all \u2013 to constantly project itself towards the \u2018globalised\u2019 markets that have taken Lamacart to international dimensions and have allowed it to operate competitively all over the world.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/museonicolis.com\/html\/uploads\/2016\/01\/6258.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-10187\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-10187 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/museonicolis.com\/html\/uploads\/2016\/01\/6258.jpg\" alt=\"6258\" width=\"663\" height=\"441\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.museonicolis.com\/html\/uploads\/2016\/01\/6258.jpg 663w, https:\/\/www.museonicolis.com\/html\/uploads\/2016\/01\/6258-240x160.jpg 240w, https:\/\/www.museonicolis.com\/html\/uploads\/2016\/01\/6258-350x233.jpg 350w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 663px) 100vw, 663px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>A strategic partner<\/strong><br \/>\nIn parallel with its international activities, the company has also developed solid partnerships with public and private Italian Associations and Institutions (for example, Comieco), thus becoming a strategic partner in collection and recovery throughout the national territory, including the management of important projects linked to environmental services.<br \/>\nA leader in Italy, the company currently handles an annual volume of recycling material near to one million tons of paper, about 10% of the entire amount of recovered paper managed by all of the sector companies put together.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Avant-garde services<\/strong><br \/>\nLamacart is able to provide its public and private Customers with a complete recycling service. In fact, its services include:<\/p>\n<p>The supply of systems and equipment (conveyor belts, baling machines, permanent presses, press containers, containers, semi-trailers), suitable for the collection and emission of material at production companies;<br \/>\nThe transportation of material with specific authorised vehicles (trucks with platforms fitted with loading systems, cranes and hydraulic grabs, etc.);<br \/>\nA network of company-owned or leased platforms throughout the country to collect the materials;<br \/>\nRecovery\/disposal of materials;<br \/>\nCertified destruction of materials (newspapers and magazines, books, private files, accounting and\/or confidential data documents, gadgets, obsolete goods, etc.) by shredding and grinding.<br \/>\nThe Company supplies its services to all sectors with particular reference to:<br \/>\nSeparate collection of waste \/ Municipalities<br \/>\nPublic Associations<br \/>\nFactories<br \/>\nLarge-scale retail trade<br \/>\nThe graphic and publishing sector<br \/>\nThe paper and binding industry<br \/>\nCredit and insurance institutions<br \/>\nLamacart\u2019s headquarters \u2013 which now employs about one hundred people \u2013 is in Villafranca, just a few kilometres from Verona. The main factory is also located here and extends over 130,000 m\u00b2, fifty thousand square metres of which are covered.<br \/>\nThe Company operates with its own authorised vehicles and systems using simplified and ordinary procedures in accordance with the standards set by the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Certifications (the OHSAS 18001 and FSC certifications are now also being obtained).<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cRecovery\u201d, a shared passion<\/strong><br \/>\nNot everybody knows: Lamacart is the mother company of the Nicolis family\u2019s many business endeavours. The family\u2019s passion for recovering things also led to the creation of Museo Nicolis, the Car, Technical and Mechanical Museum in Villafranca with its 7 collections of vintage cars, musical instruments, cameras, typewriters and other items of mankind\u2019s ingenuity.<br \/>\nA contagious passion which lies at the very foundations of the family business \u2013 making it into an industrial activity \u2013 and the Museum\u2019s, which was created by Luciano Nicolis, the entrepreneur who recently passed away, to accompany his activity as a collector and culture sponsor. The passion for recovery that Luciano Nicolis, his wife, Renate and his children, Silvia and Thomas, all share has led them to see, where others only see \u201cscrap\u201d, true mechanical gems that had the potential to be recovered, restored and brought back to their original splendour.
