Moto Guzzi, 1946/51, Dondolino

Moto Guzzi Dondolino, 1946/51, Italy

The Dondolino is the direct evolution of the Condor model, compared to which it presents improvements to the brakes and rear suspension. The paintwork remains that of the Condor: Guzzi red with amaranth tank panels.

With its rival, the Gilera Saturno, it’s the most popular racing “half liter” among post-war private riders and wins many races on the circuit and uphill.
The Dondolino was built until 1951 in small series of 25 or 50 machines at a time by the racing department. Due to the devaluation of the currency, its price reaches 895,000 lire.
